Project Lifeless #01

Hello, developers and players!
I'm excited to share with you my survival game project set in a capital city in Brazil's Midwest after an apocalypse caused by a parasite.
Currently, I'm working on creating a prototype scenario to test the game's basic mechanics. The idea is to have a player in a house during a storm who is forced to leave the house and face the chaos in the city.
For this prototype, I've already developed a basic shooting system with some visual and sound effects to give more impact. Additionally, I've created a basic AI for the infected, which is capable of chasing and attacking the player.
I've also implemented animation physics when the infected is hit, causing it to lose body parts such as arms, legs, and even the torso, making the fight more intense.
Although I still have a lot to learn, I'm dedicating my time to refine what I already have before starting to develop the open prototype. The next step is to work on a stealth or combat system that allows the player to sneak around the infected in a street full of cars and resources.
The goal is to create an immersive and challenging survival game with elements of action, strategy, and survival in a post-apocalyptic world.
Stay tuned for more updates, and thank you for following the project's development!
